Temporarily transferred for renovation works to piazza Alvar Aalto/via Amerigo Vespucci 12. The cuisine served at the elegant Iyo is heavily influenced by Japan while at the same time being rooted in Italian flavours and traditions. The extensive à la carte includes the type of dishes that you would expect of a Japanese restaurant (such as well-known versions of sushi, sashimi and tempura, to name just a few), alongside more creative fusion recipes which combine influences from Japan, Europe and elsewhere. There’s also an excellent selection of around 500 wines, including the option of ordering wine by the glass.
