Locals know the Yoyogi Fifth District (Go-chome) area as ‘Yoyogo’. Change the ‘go’ to the Vietnamese word for five, ‘nam’, and you get Yoyonam, expressing the owner’s desire to earn the love of its community. The fare consists of arrangements of Vietnamese home cooking, such as spring rolls and bánh xèo (crispy, rice-stuffed pancake).
