L'avis du Guide Michelin
Once you arrive at the Cala Moresca hotel, a small shuttle bus takes you down to the rocks, where the sensation is one of being on the prow of a ship with the sea and the islands of Ischia, Procida and Capri standing proudly before you. This little gem of a restaurant boasts an outdoor space with a real southern Italian feel and owes its name to a snail-shaped feature on the ceiling (caracol is the Spanish for snail). Chef Angelo Carannante’s imaginative cuisine is full of Mediterranean flavours and successful combinations, while the wine list includes excellent wines from all over Italy, as well as international labels and sparkling wines, all of which can be enjoyed either in the restaurant itself or on the superb terrace jutting out over the sea.
