In the heart of Ibla, one of the most evocative historic districts not only of this wonderful island but of Italy itself, chef Ciccio Sultano embodies the very essence of Sicily, also through his latest “citrica” philosophy, about which he will – undoubtedly – tell you once you are seated in his classic, elegant venue just steps from the Duomo di San Giorgio (well worth a visit). You will be welcomed and served with refinement and expertise by a young, passionate team, including a carefully curated wine selection. Drawing on a profound knowledge of his land, the charismatic and friendly chef stages one of the most compelling shows of island gastronomy within the intimate, comfortable rooms of the restaurant. The offering is presented as two tasting menus, with the option to order à la carte as well. We were especially struck by the pasture‑raised lamb, Sicilian mole, fire‑cooked green beans, and a vegetable jus that blends sea and mountain flavors: a dish that unites technique, intensity, and originality, and alone justifies the journey. Among the many exclusive delicacies, each guest will find a memorable highlight to take home.
