Since 2006, Bernd Lutz and his wife Rosemarie have been welcoming guests to their charming inn dating back to 1875. The chef-patron and his team serve up flavoursome classic seasonal dishes (eg cured salmon with pearl barley, beetroot and horseradish, or pan-fried veal sweetbreads with leaf spinach and spaetzle (a Swabian pasta speciality) made using a wealth of locally sourced produce. The appealing wine list features a well-curated selection of local vintages. Charming interior; gorgeous terrace. The service, led by the proprietress, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. For those wishing to stay overnight, cosy guestrooms and an attractive holiday apartment are available.
