The restaurant of the splendid castle with origins in the 11th century - formerly the home of Camillo Benso, count of Cavour – has chef Alessandro Mecca at its helm. In a romantic and elegant frame, the chef offers a line of modern cuisine which is only partly local but often opens to Italian flavors. A third of the menu is in fact based on fish, often supplied from nearby Liguria. The same goes for the wine selection: obviously rich in Piedmontese bottles, it contains numerous other national labels and some hints of France.
