It doesn't get much more Swabian than this: not only is the menu exclusively regional, with dishes including Flädlesubb and Roschdbrooda, it is also written in the dialect. The glass-paned wall into the kitchen provides interesting glimpses behind the scenes, plus the service is really friendly. There is a cookery school in the vaults. Their rather novel "Spätzle Drive-in" is open throughout the day. This long-standing family business also offers cosy modern guestrooms.
