L'avis du Guide Michelin
At this restaurant in the heart of Charlottenburg – which used to be a jazz café – Arne Anker and his team serve up cuisine that is inspired by the seasons. Choose the five- to seven-course set menu (water included) or go à la carte; you can also put together your own menu from the à la carte selection, and it is possible to make this vegan. The wafer-thin slices of tender entrecôte and spicy guanciale served on wooden skewers are excellent – described by the chef himself with a wink as "our version of a Berlin kebab". The restaurant is happy to cater for food intolerances – it is best to let them know in advance. The alcohol-free drinks are also fabulous, with house-made kombucha, kefir, syrup, tea etc. The ambience is characterised by striking exposed brick walls and decorative art. The service is friendly and well organised, the atmosphere relaxed and informal – even the chef sometimes comes to diners at their tables. Pleasant pavement terrace.
