Operating since 1957 in the heart of the historic center, Nando is a go-to spot for those wanting to experience Valdostan cuisine: excellent cured meats (usually served with the famous fontina), polenta and fondue, fondue bourguignonne, rustic polenta tart with goat milk gelato... all prepared with top-quality ingredients and served in a simple yet atmospheric setting. The wine selection is excellent, focusing mainly on the Aosta Valley, with over 100 different labels, many of which are available by the glass. Among the desserts, the rothia is a must-try: white wine custard, spiced bread, and a sprinkle of cinnamon – intense, rich, and delicious.
