Ob Mizi makes great use of its quayside location with a large terrace that’s ideal for sunny days on the island. Inside, the restaurant has a warm, homely feel with family photos adorning the walls. Open from breakfast through until dinner, the cooking has a classic feel, offering the likes of lamb shank in red wine or whole local sea bass. The Slovenian chef-owner Grega Zver showcases dishes from his homeland too, such as ‘štruklji’ filled with cottage cheese, mushroom and celeriac or flavoursome veal ragu with lightly caramelised gnocchi.
