Behind the typical bamboo plants in the window of this always-busy restaurant just a few metres from the Plaza de España, you’ll find a contemporary interior that still manages to retain an Oriental feel thanks to the decor of dragons’ heads, red Chinese lanterns and even cuddly panda bears. The cuisine offers a strong insight into the cooking of Shanghai through different types of dumplings (xiaolongbao, shenjiangbao, wonton, etc), and homemade Chinese noodles (lamian). The young, informal ambience adds further appeal.
