L'avis du Guide Michelin
A major icon of Madrid’s restaurant scene, after more than half a century in operation, this restaurant has seen countless personalities of the national and international elite sit at its tables. However, beyond all that, it boasts a historic milestone: It was the first restaurant in Spain to earn three MICHELIN Stars (between 1987 and 1995, both editions included). Today, with that halo of elegance and distinction still firmly in place, it showcases a totally contemporary space, with a beautiful glass-fronted wine cellar and a classic-international menu with a section dedicated exclusively to its most legendary dishes (Búcaro ‘Don Pío’, mushroom and foie gras lasagne, Tellagorri cod, Sirloin Wellington, etc.), alongside a tasting menu.
