Located in one of the streets surrounding the walled access to the city's castle, this restaurant is easy to find. Behind its curious name, a small tribute to the building’s past (it was previously a toy factory), hides much more than a nod to the past, as chef Massimo Arienti seeks to surprise diners with a proposal that, never better said, plays with flavours, appearance, and textures, making the Italian cuisine that lives in his blood merge with the best local produce of the Marina Alta. There are three elaborate tasting menus (Inizio, Toy maker and Brianza), with dishes as appetising as the Calamarata frutti di mare or, when it’s time fort dessert, the Bacio di Pantelleria.
