Within the Skostredet Hotel sits this contemporary izakaya of the same name, where you are encouraged to come together and socialise over shared dishes. The chef creates an intriguing à la carte menu via the use of fresh Norwegian seafood, traditional Japanese ingredients and time-honoured Japanese techniques, with dishes ranging from sushi and ramen bowls to agemono (fried dishes) and okonomiyaki (savoury pancakes). For those that simply can’t decide, there are several sharing menus available too. In summer, the best spot to dine is outside on the terrace.
