L'avis du Guide Michelin
Nestled in the heart of nature, within an 18-hectare park dotted with over 3,000 olive trees – from which the estate’s olive oil is produced – the Cascioni Eco Retreat (1 Michelin Key), housed in an old farmhouse with rustic-bohemian charm, has for the past two seasons welcomed chef Salvatore Camedda to its restaurant, Ulìa. Camedda previously headed up the Michelin-starred restaurant Somu in Baia Sardinia (currently closed). His cuisine is modern with a Mediterranean influence, sensitively showcasing the Sardinian region through balanced, contemporary dishes; his work with lamb is particularly noteworthy, featuring prominently in a range of dishes – from charcoal-grilled lamb to croquettes and cured meats – demonstrating both technical skill and creativity. Far from the hustle and bustle of the Costa Smeralda, the restaurant is set in a setting of absolute tranquillity: the ideal spot to treat yourself to a moment of genuine relaxation while savouring the chef’s cuisine on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
