A family-run restaurant with a relaxed and informal feel in a highly picturesque setting by the road running through the Agaete Valley, surrounded by coffee plantations and lush vegetation. Here, chef Aridani Alonso prepares Canary Island cuisine which has been brought bang up-to-date and has a strong focus on local ingredients (most of which are sourced from the restaurant’s own farm, La Laja). How does it work? You'll find two distinct areas: Casa Romántica, reserved for carefully crafted tasting menus, some of which are vegetarian or vegan (Tomás Morales, Alonso Quesada, Leonor Ramos de Armas and Tamadaba), and Los Jardines de Casa Romántica, where diners choose from an à la carte menu. One of the highlights is the Carabinero de La Santa, with spinach from their farm and béarnaise sauce!
