This pretty brick building (1847) was once a vinegar factory and distillery, and now houses a wine bar and restaurant run by Regina and Dennis Schneider. The restaurant has a modern interior with a touch of elegance about it. The seasonal cuisine can be ordered à la carte or as a set menu (including vegetarian options). The proprietress, who presides front-of-house, is exceedingly charming and professional – truly a fantastic hostess! Tip: In summer, be sure to ask for a table in the delightful leafy courtyard. A short, more moderately priced set menu is available at lunchtime.
