L'avis du Guide Michelin
A restaurant that is well run by a couple who are highly passionate about their work, with the husband running the front of house and his wife in charge in the kitchen. Easy to find given its location by the main road, it features a reasonably spacious car park, a public bar and two rustically themed dining rooms, both boasting stone walls and a hunting-inspired decor. Its menu showcases the traditional dishes of the Trás-os-Montes region (including game), all of which are copious and based around the freshest ingredients. Make sure you try the wild boar stew with chestnuts, the rice with hare, and the Bragança-style lamb.
