First enjoyed L'Ourcine in 2009 and again in July 2010. Both occasions impressed. An excellent 3 course menu serving up French classics. Stayed in my mind as one of my favorite Parisian dining experiences. One of the few restaurants in this range to consistently impress: Our table of 4 had smiles and nods from from the amuse bouche to the dessert.
Returned in May 2010, sorry to report that the experience was not like before. Perhaps just an off night, but entrées were deceptive and lacking taste. Plates were decent and desserts were passable. Not sure if there has been a mgmt change from summer 2010 to now, but L'Ourcine seems to have slipped a bit. No ice bucket for the white.
