As indicated, the setting is very pretty and relaxed with a wonderful view of the mountains. Unfortunately, it ended there for us.

We first tried Les Pecheurs two years ago and had fond memories, which we were looking forward to repeating. This was not the case, as we had to wait over thirty five minutes for our starters to arrive ( I had to complain to the maitre'd, asking if there was a problem in the kitchen). Following this, it took an equal amount of time before our main dishes arrived, with no apology from the staff. Because it took so long, we lost our appetite. In addition, when we selected our wine, our sommelier advised us that that specific wine has oxidized, and recommended a similar wine (considerably more expensive). If the wine we selected was oxidized, than why would they still cary it in their cellar? To conclude, the food was very good, but regrettably the service was unacceptable to the point where we will not return. It should also be noted that, despite our evident disappointment, the staff never offered a digestif or anything of the sort as an apology, nor did anyone even bother to smile or wish us a good evening as we departed the establishment. In my opinion, behavior unbecoming of a michelin star restaurant.
