The Hospes Palacio del Bailio is a member of design hotels. The 17th century building with 53 rooms and suites are conditioned with exquisite details.The Palace- built on the ruins of a Roman house- is located in the heart of the historical centre- surrounded by the architectural heritage of Cordoba.The Palacio del Bailio is inlaid in Cordobas historical heart and it emerges as an inspiring balance between the past and the present; thus- nowadays its stables- coach houses- straw lofts- granaries- Roman remains- valuable original paintings and splendid garden represent a careful equilibrium between design- history- harmony- space and light. The Palace- mainly built between the XVI and XVIII centuries- was originally one of the large properties in the allotment of Cordoba after the Reconquest and was declared Bien de Interes Cultural Well of Cultural Interest in the Monument category in 1982.
